FESTIVAL OF FLOWERS
Christ Church Charnock Richard are celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Consecration of their Church at a Festival of Flowers on 11th 12th 13th June 2010.  They will be taking a look back at some of the occupations around that time: spinning, weaving, tanning, thatching etc. The Church will be open all weekend.



Friday evening:Charnock Richard Brass and Babylon Brass Quintet present “Blooming Brass” in Church

Saturday evening: Gala Concert: “An Evening of Popular Arias and Duets from the World of Opera and Song” with Michael Bracegirdle, Lise Christensen, Kate Brian and Robin Humphreys, each of them highly acclaimed in their field. 

Sunday evening: Gareth Edwards will be at the organ for Songs of Praise.
